Eskom shocked by new R36 billion bill from infamous Kusile unit – Well, isn’t this the last thing that utility and the South African taxpayer needed?

With Eskom set to receive a R70 billion government bailout over the next few years, they could lose more than half of that amount before they even get going.

Another set of spiralling costs have floored the utility, who have been billed R36 billion by contractors working on the Kusile Power Plant.

The report – which was first published by City Press on Sunday – features a response from Eskom: They’ve confirmed that they received the whopping figure, but stressed that this won’t necessarily be the amount they have to cough up. According to the company, “it provided for a smaller amount in its total R161-billion Kusile budget.”

Why have Eskom been billed R36 billion from Kusile?
The bill itself consists of “unforeseen costs” that weren’t originally mapped out in the contractor’s plans. Kusile has been a nightmare for the entire Eskom grid, despite it being one of the most modern units in operation.

Election cost taxpayers billions of rand, SA’s struggling economy has taken a step closer towards junk status

Apart from the fact that taxpayers had to foot the bill for the state’s expenses, the amount of which is unknown, but has amounted to millions. The recent election has pushed the struggling economy another step closer towards junk status with the tremendous expense of political parties.

The ANC spent more than one billion in its effort to remain the country’s ruler, while the other 47 political parties spent just over one billion rand together.

Political analysts say the waste did not show who convinced voters to vote for another party, and there were few changes, except that the FF Plus strengthened its position considerably, and so did the Malema party.

As if the struggling economy is being taxed even further, the ANC wants President Ramaphosa to boast of his inauguration at the Loftus Versveld rugby stadium where about 45 thousand of his supporters can see it.

Bankrupt SA’s bankrupt governors – taxpayers’ contribution to the treasury is recklessly ransacked

While everyone is encouraged by the ANC regime to help build the economy, so-called governors are making the taxpayers’ contribution to the Treasury wastefully wasted.

If R750m from the empty treasury is dumped to renovate the homes of ANC ministers and deputy ministers and even pay thousands of Rands for dog kennels, it’s no wonder the country is bankrupt.

In addition to the squandering, the Union Buildings’ rugs are being replaced by an astronomical amount, which raises the question of how much corruption has been found here again.

Since 2014, the power has once again become evident with the millions of Rand spent buying luxury cars for the ministers, and endurance does not end.

On May 25, the regime’s president is inaugurated, and millions of Rand are being offered to host the event at the Loftus Versveld Stadium where dozens of African leaders will also have a seat to be seen.

The boisterous leader of the Economic Freedom Fighter (EFF) has slammed those who say he is not fit to govern South Africa.

Malema urged all to look at his impeccable records in the past, so they can see that he can do better if given the opportunity.

He noted that he would fire useless ministers that are costing the taxpayers so much to maintain and lead a South Africa of our dreams.

The EFF is up for a grueling 2019, as the EFF is correct in targeting younger voters and the majority of poor blacks who believe they can get land should the party take over the government.

EFF’s first attempt at the polls in the 2014 general elections saw the party gain 6% of the lion’s share of votes.

Independent polls by market research company Ipsos have the EFF coming in at 7% for this year’s elections.

Lie of Eskom continues – Consumers can prepare for many more days of #Rollingblackouts, and further deterioration of the economy, as each day’s load shedding causes the debt burden to rise by R2 billion

The lie of Eskom continues, and the 1,100 MW bought from Mozambique and now being unavailable is only the tip of the iceberg of tragedies.

Maintenance at the Eskom power stations has been taboo for years – it was always white people’s way of wasting money and labor, and the ANC regime, with its strange culture of so-called democracy’s true mess, is now breaking through to taxpayers.

The reality is that the three power stations, Drakensberg, Ingula and Palmiet, perform so poorly that they use more power on electricity than is produced.

The three power stations do not really make a contribution to the power grid, while they are supposed to deliver 2,700 MW together.

Consumers can prepare for many more days of load shedding, and the further deterioration of the economy, as each day’s load shedding increases the debt burden by R2 billion.

Just something to think about with regards to SA taxes that will leave you shocked!

Taxpayers should not foot the bill for ANC government’s failures.  We need to look deeper into our system of government, and how we allocate risk and reward, responsibility and accountability.

At this moment, if you earned R100, you pay R33 income tax. You are left with R67. You buy R67 worth of fuel, pay 48% of taxes and levies on that fuel. R32. So from the R100 that you earned, you payed the government about R70 and kept R30. And if you spend that R30, 15%, R4.50, is VAT. And what did the government do with all your money? Nothing really except squandering it on everything except creating real value. Then they target you with racist legislation and blame you for the mess they created. And when you comment and ask questions in the media you’re branded a racist and unpatriotic and negative and should rather leave the country.

Zukiswa Rantho, who led the parliamentary inquiry into Evkom’s problems, made up the former Eskom boss, Matshelo Koko, in parliament as a “servant” of the Gupta’s.

She pointed him out as a liar and a possible criminal.

Several speakers in parliament once again pointed out that Eskom is holding the country hostage and trying to enforce money from taxpayers who are already suffering from the heavy debt of the ANC government.

Why is Telkom donating R1 Million to the EFF? Why are tax payers being indirectly forced to fund this far-left political party?

Telkom is funded by the state, therefore, funded by you and me through taxes. Furthermore, the state is run by the ANC, this would mean that the ANC is indirectly using our taxes to fund the EFF. What is going on?

Two new statues of terrorists will cost Durban taxpayers R20m. The erection of the statues is alleged to promote black unity in the province. However to the cost of whom?

The municipality believe that terrorists Nelson Mandela and Oliver Tambo will be “honored” in this way and will encourage to promote black unity.

The previous four statues of Mandela, Mbeki, Zuma and Ramaphosa cost the taxpayer approximately R1,9 million.

Experts believe the amount of R20m for two further statues is excessive, and believes it is unfair to tax citizens while worshiping these terrorist worship.

Millions of Rands of taxpayers money are exploited on State’s funeral burials for so called struggle hero’s to please ancestral spirits while thousands of citizens are living in poverty

At the rate that ANC’s “stalwarts” are now dying, local governments and the state will be spending a lot of money for burials and funerals.

Every ANC member now dying is considered a “struggle hero” and “deserves” a state funeral. African funerals are accompanied by generous refreshments and the traditional rituals that must be completed to please all the ancestral spirit.

The state’s lavish funeral burials for almost every struggle hero amount to millions of rand, especially when the grand entertainment’s expenses are accounted for where everyone is present.
