Eskom with a debt burden of R450 billion may be the downfall of ANC regime

Political analysts say the actions of high-ranking officials in Eskom could lead to the demise of the ANC government.

The pressure is mounting on the ruling ANC regime from the inner circles as well as opposing structures as well as from extreme groups to act against those responsible for the mess in which the power supplier is currently facing its debt burden of R450 billion.

The claims are varied, but many expect the ANC to take action against Public Enterprise Minister Pravin Gordhan, who is closely concerned with Eskom’s problems.

The Red Brigade is demanding Gordhan’s sacking, while Deputy President David Mabuza himself helped to throw Gordhan under the bus.

There is also a feud against Ramaphosa, from people who believe he should have forced Eskom to stay with his company in order not to employ any loadshedding before January 13.

During the month of October 2019, there were twenty eight farm attacks and three farm murders, whilst one farm attack was successfully averted in South Africa.

During September 2019, there were forty six farm attacks and seven farm murders, whilst one farm attack was averted. And the authorities continue to to deny the existence of these heinous crimes.

During August 2019, there were 45 farm attacks, 4 farm murders, whilst 6 farm attacks were successfully averted.

During July 2019, there were 39 farm attacks, 4 farm murders and 4 farm attacks were averted.
During the month of June 2019, there were 34 farm attacks and 6 farm murders, whilst 3 farm attacks were averted. And for the period 1 January to the end of May 2019, there were already 184 Farm attacks and 20 farm murders.

ANC regime threatens financial survival of SA, Government debt increases every day

The ANC government is extremely dangerous and threatens the financial survival of South Africa, as its eagerness to lend remains unsaturated.

This is the opinion of an economic adviser following the SA Reserve Bank’s announcement that government debt is rising faster than provided by any institution.

The government’s total loan debt has risen to a breathtaking level of just over 58% of the annual budget.

Experts point out that South Africa has now reached the point where Moody’s can no longer turn its head, and even if that were to happen, it is an undeniable reality that the country has landed deep into the abyss of being subjected to junk status, and may not be coming out of it again soon.

Great unhappiness exists in the ANC government because white men are allegedly still holding the largest number of executive positions.

The ANC’s Minister of Labor, Thulas Nxesi, said this week that there are too many companies that are not pursuing government targets.

He says the companies that do not reach the targets should be punished, which could mean that the government will force them to achieve the set goals.

He says Section 53 of the Employment Equity Act will be promulgated to compel companies that do not meet the requirements because it has been established for more than 20 years that “democracy” has been established.

The businesses that are still successfully run with knowledgeable white men have no reason to dismiss such a person, said one expert.

Communities outside Krugersdorp are held hostage by riotous protesters trying to force the ANC with violent actions to meet their election promises

For months now, the Hekpoort/Magaliesburg area has been troubled by the actions of riotous people who block roads, destroy infrastructure, burn down pasture for animals and even torch private vehicles and trucks. All because they were promised land and houses, but it did not happen.

The destruction in Hekpoort, the valleyed agricultural community that borders on the well-known Cradle of Humankind heritage area, is a direct consequence of the opportunist pre-election promises that the ANC made to residents but did not keep.

Protesters are preventing people from travelling to their farms and businesses and motorists often have to take detours just to reach their destinations.

Driving outside Modimolle with my son, I was shocked to stumble on this abandoned chicken farm…It looked like a once productive farm

I was told by the neighbour it was given to a comrade by the ANC government. The comrade never lived on the land. These chicken houses are usually R1.5 million for a single unit – there were several of them. It looked automated, fully computerised. The greedy comrade in a sickening betrayal of his people and country sold the chickens and abandoned the farm

The comrade now stubbornly refuses to hand this land over to black South Africans for more productive development.

The ANC appear not to care when productive land sits idle. SA taxpayers to fund over R76 million for politicians who did not return to parliament after this year’s national election

Government will spend over R76 million of taxpayer’s money on ‘loss-of-office gratuities’ for politicians who did not return to parliament after this year’s national election.

The Sunday Times reports that this figure is set to continue rising in the coming weeks as payments are still being processed.

The gratuities will be paid to former ministers and MPs who completed at least a five-year term in office, with four months’ of pensionable salary being paid out for every five years of service completed.

This means that former ministers like Jeff Radebe and Derek Hanekom stand to earn at least R4.8 million each.

According to the paper, earning this package does not preclude politicians from accepting other public sector positions, or returning to parliament at a later date.

DA MP John Steenhuisen said that the packages were originally instituted to help MPs, but has since turned into an unnecessary and expensive benefit.</p

Bloodhounds are sucking SA motorists dry so that the ANC can benefit – total fuel tax comes to R5.73 now while little of the levy is intended for the right purpose due to corruption and mismanagement

A newly released report shows that South Africa’s motorists are being “sucked dry” with heavy levies while little of its intended for the right purpose.

Ten years ago, the total tax on fuel was R1.77 and now it has become R5.73 per liter.

Financial experts point out that the government is abusing the fuel levy to maintain their extravagant stance, whatever the new president of the country is trying to say.

Billions of rand are progressing this way every year, but the public says they see nothing that the government is doing with the money, except to pay excessively high salaries to workers who are not always up to the post occupied.

This is seen as one of the main reasons why the economic situation of taxpayers, businessmen and the state is getting worse.

SA faces rating crisis due to ANC-controlled Eskom’s gross debt of more than R440bn – How will Ramaphosa overcome this problem without abusing public funds?

Despite the R230 billion bailout the ANC president promised to Eskom over the next ten years, they are now asking the government for further assistance.

At this stage, it appears that the government is going to trade Eskom’s debt for government bonds or through the creation of a special account.

According to the Treasury, the problem at Eskom is “big and complex” which leads to the country’s rating crisis. President Ramaphosa has on several occasions tried to appease the rating agencies with a “workable” plan without abusing public funds.

Eskom’s debt at the end of March amounted to R440 billion, and considering that the country’s total gross domestic product amounted to $ 366 billion in 2018, it shows how serious the crisis is.

Victims of apartheid demand R1m each in reparations since they were wounded by the era – Compensation will bring peace, rebuild and restore their dignity

A crowd of victims of apartheid gathered at the Union Buildings in Pretoria on Tuesday, demanding an urgent meeting with President Cyril Ramaphosa.

The group of aged people, with many using crutches to help them walk, was led by activist Nomarussia Bonase of the Khulumani Support Group – an organisation which supports apartheid-era victims and activists.

“We are from Gauteng but what we have brought here is a mandate and the demands of the Khulumani Support Group nationally. It’s now 25 years and we’re still on this journey, trying to bring our government to talk about our demands. We are a wounded society. We were wounded by apartheid. After 1994, the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) was formed, and that commission was meant to bring peace, rebuild and restore the dignity of humans violated by apartheid,” Bonase told African News Agency.

De Lille sells out her voters, compromises coloured and other minorities by accepting a position in the Cabinet of ANC-regime

Just like the New National Party had a “Short pants” figure who brought about the end of his party through incorporation with the ANC, the Good party now also has its own “Short skirt” who will usher in the end of her party as well.

Patricia de Lille, the new Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure, sold out the coloured voters who voted for her for a position with the ANC.

This raises the question of whether she negotiated this move with the ANC while she participated in the election campaign as leader of Good. If that is the case, she owes every single person who voted for Good an explanation.

De Lille is repeating the same pattern as the one she laid down with her previous party, the Independent Democrats (ID), which was founded after she broke away from the PAC in 2003.

The ID vanished from the scene shortly afterwards when De Lille sacrificed her party, just like now, for a high position with the Democratic Alliance (DA).
