Great unhappiness exists in the ANC government because white men are allegedly still holding the largest number of executive positions.

The ANC’s Minister of Labor, Thulas Nxesi, said this week that there are too many companies that are not pursuing government targets.

He says the companies that do not reach the targets should be punished, which could mean that the government will force them to achieve the set goals.

He says Section 53 of the Employment Equity Act will be promulgated to compel companies that do not meet the requirements because it has been established for more than 20 years that “democracy” has been established.

The businesses that are still successfully run with knowledgeable white men have no reason to dismiss such a person, said one expert.

These South African companies are retrenching staff in 2019 – Most probably BEE compliant as well – Unemployment has already soared to 27.5%

Multichoice has joined the bandwagon of South African companies that are cutting jobs to stay afloat in these difficult times.

Why are these South African companies retrenching staff?
The satellite network stated that, although billions of rand in returns were reported for the 2018/2019 financial year, consumer behaviour and data on their digital self-service shows that there is less of a need for that many call centre and walk-in centre agents on their roster.

This is yet another blow for South Africa’s economy, whose GDP retracted by more than 3% in the first half of the year.

While Multichoice’s decision was brought on by pressure from the impending take-over of the fourth industrial revolution, other companies have been forced into a corner with very little choice but to sacrifice a portion of its workforce to remain financially soluble.

Economic recession awaits SA due to poor performance of the rand and begging mentality of state entities

South Africa’s economy is plunging into an abyss, and the recession looms on the doorstep of SA’s door.

This is the opinion of an expert in Pretoria following the extremely poor performance of the rand and the begging mentality of state-controlled companies.

The latest plea from the SA Airways, asking the ANC-regime for a R4 billion bailout, will put the country in a recession, if granted, and will force Moody to downgrade the country to junk status.

Economists warn that SA Airways will not rise from its financial difficulties even if a bailout is received, and will eventually have to be sold due to mismanagement by incompetent chief officers appointed.

Severe Sanction against too white businesses in SA to follow – 44 Companies with more whites workforce facing fine of R1.5m by Department of Labour

Severe Sanctions will be initiated against companies that are too white in South Africa and defaulters dealt with.

The Department of Labour has started to fine companies which are “too white” according to the Employment Equity Act (EEA).

Affirmative Action, which falls under the EEA, aims to ensure that qualified designated groups – black people, women, and people with disabilities – are equally represented in the workplace.

This law forces employers to makes sure it has the right proportion of designated people – black, coloured, Indian, female, and disabled people – at all levels of an organisation.

In August 2017, the Department of Labour announced a crackdown on companies to ensure that they comply with the act.

At the time the department said six JSE-listed companies had been found to be non-compliant and were referred for prosecution.
