Controversial ANC Premier, Ace Magashula and Zuma’s son each received R1 million in bribery , monthly from Tony Gupta

Ace Magashula, former Free State Prime Minister, received monthly R1 million in hard cash from Tony Gupta.

The disclosure was made by a witness who appeared before the Zondo commission last week, adding that Duduzane Zuma, the son of Jacob, also received R1 million monthly.

The allegations were made by the former Free State Economic Development member, a Mxolisi Dukwana, who appeared before the commission on Friday.

Dukwana says the Gupta has informed him that the two people each receive R1 million each month in cash, which comes from the Gupta family.

He also testified that Gupta offered him R2m to sign a document, but refused, and shortly afterwards he was fired.

It pays to be the son of the most corrupt president SA ever had – NPA to ‘drop’ corruption charges against Duduzane Zuma

The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) is expected to provisionally withdraw corruption charges against former president Jacob Zuma’s son Duduzane in the Specialised Commercial Crimes Court on Thursday.

Duduzane Zuma’s lawyers have declined to comment until the court process is finalised on Thursday morning. NPA spokesperson Phindi Mjonondwane Aldo said the state would comment only after Thursday’s court proceedings. Business Day understands that the NPA sent a letter to Duduzane Zuma’s lawyers on Tuesday, notifying them of the provisional withdrawal of the charges.

The exact reason for that withdrawal is not known at this time, but follows the NPA’s decision to provisionally withdraw charges against Gupta family members and associates late in 2018, in connection with the alleged Estina Dairy Project scam.

The startling allegations Radovan Krejcir made against Jacob Zuma this week could head to the Zondo Commission, according to Mo Shaik.

Monday’s revelation that Jacob Zuma had apparently accepted a bribe from a Czech gangster seeking asylum in South Africa wasn’t as much explosive as it was absolutely nuclear. Of course, Radovan Krejcir has merely made an allegation – but he says that the proof is out there.

Seeking protection in Mzansi after a string of crimes committed back in his home country, Krejcir claims that he had drove to Nkandla on one fateful evening to meet with both Jacob and Duduzane Zuma. Radovan Krejcir says he recorded a meeting where he gave millions to the Zuma family, in exchange for political asylum in South Africa.

It wouldn’t be a Tuesday morning without catching up with the latest developments from the murky world of Jacob Zuma. It’s a case of another week, and another grubby revelation regarding corruption, as convicted gangster Radovan Krejcir has submitted a detailed affidavit to the police.

Who is Radovan Krejcir?
As City Press report, Krejcir is currently serving 35 years behind bars for drug-dealing, kidnapping and the attempted murder of Bhekithemba Lukhele in June 2013.

However, back in 2011, he claims that he attempted to fast-track himself to political asylum in South Africa, paying a visit to the Zuma homestead.
