Is “patronage” the new word for buying votes? What are the criteria to qualify for Food Aid? While the ANC claims that specific criteria are being used to identify families to be assisted during the lockdown with food aid, it seems, as usual, that corruption, bribery and indeed anti white racism are the order of the day.

According to Gauteng Premier David Makhura, patronage and corruption won’t be tolerated in the distribution of food parcels to the needy, but it seems the horse has already bolted. SANCO has already laid a charge of corruption and we know of food aid going to blacks in Munsieville but not to the white families in the same squatter camp…

Tshwane Metro also claim they “try avoid using state funds for corruption purposes“! So do they rather use redirected funds like people’s electricity and water payments or private donations and business funding for corruption? How hard do they try? They

Alliance ends, but how long will it last, since money speaks louder than political promises ?- Red Brigade wanted the mayorship in Tshwane, but DA wont surrender power to EFF

The EFF announced that they would not go into coalition with the DA in any municipalities as the DA refused their request that the red brigade receive the mayor in Pretoria.

They also said they would not partner with the ANC if votes were to be voted for.

Observers say time will tell how long the “promise” will last because money speaks louder than political promises.

The DA will not surrender the government of the City of Tshwane to the EFF, regional leader Abel Tau has said. Tau, also utility services MMC in the City’s DA-led coalition government, hit out at his EFF counterpart Moafrika Mabogwana, who has called for a fresh election in the metro.

“We don’t live in a banana republic where everyone can today decide that I am not happy with how people have voted and call for elections,” said Tau.

“In democracy, you respect democracy and wait for the next election cycle.”

The huge rise in support for the right-wing party is ‘evidence’ that ‘white privilege is shaken’, the EFF leader says.

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema commented on the massive growth of the right-wing Freedom Front Plus (FF+) in the 2019 elections at a press conference on Thursday.

Malema says he believes their increase in support is a sign of white people showing their true colours.

“I am happy white people are taking a position. Their voting for FF+ is making it clear that they are racist,” he said.

Malema believes the growth of the FF shows how white people “immediately regroup to protect white privilege” when it is “threatened”.
“You have evidence now that white privilege is shaken,” he added.

Malema then turned his attention to the inclusion of apartheid-era prime minister Hendrik Verwoerd’s grandson on the party’s list of members who would be going to parliament.

Outdated devices used in South African elections for years, are not linked to a central online system -Cope’s Deidre Carter says her ID was scanned at four different voting stations

On Wednesday 8 May South Africans took to the polls in the 2019 elections. Reports are growing of voters describing how easily the ink was removed from thumbs, and cases of people attempting to vote more than once.

Cope’s Deidre Carter talks to CapeTalk’s Lester Kiewit about problems she experienced with both ink and the zip-zip machine scanning process.

She says after the ink easily rubbed off her thumb and she tested if she could have committed voter fraud and was shocked at the outcome.

She went to a different voting station with her now clean thumb and says she could easily have voted numerous times after her ID was scanned, again and again, receiving 4 more slips from zip zip machines.

I went through the zip-zip machine and was told, yes you can go and vote.

She called the presiding officer and explained what had happened and raised her serious concerns.

Theoretically, she could have voted five times.

Illegal protest actions during elections caused Voting Stations still to be closed after 5pm

The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) has confirmed that at least five voting stations had not yet opened by 5 pm on Wednesday.

IEC deputy CEO Masego Shiburi made the announcement while South Africans citizens across the country were still casting their votes.

IEC deputy CEO Masego Shiburi said the commission was highly satisfied with voting progress, however, there were some setbacks including those caused by protests.

“Despite the best efforts of the security agencies, government representatives and the Commission, five voting stations had still not opened by 5 pm.”

These were one station in Buffalo City and one in Ntabankulu, in the Eastern Cape, and three voting stations in Inkosi Langalibalele municipality in KwaZulu-Natal.

He said the commission was so far highly satisfied with voting progress. However, there were some setbacks, including those caused by protests.

I am yet to meet a People who are more than ready to destroy their own environment in an effort to “make a statement” about their need for adequate service delivery.

For this “statement”, Black South Africans are always ready to burn down their own neighbourhoods, reside in ashes and wait for the same useless ANC government (which heavily relies on White people’s taxes) to rebuild the same neighbourhoods they had burned to the ground.

Therefore, whenever a Black community makes a “statement” towards a local government, what they really want to say is, “we don’t really care about our lives. Which is why we are ready to destroy ourselves just to get your attention.”

For no people who have a real understanding and appreciate their value would do what Black South Africans do whenever their illusions turn around and bite them. And what are these illusions?

ANC regime landgrab program is used in an attempt to recruit government votes for the upcoming election

The Department of Public Works says a “rapid follow-up” process is planned to make land available quickly to give momentum to the landgrab program.

The state has a property portfolio of more than 93,000 buildings and more than 1.9 million hectares of land under the control of the Department.

The government’s land-grabbing program entails that land, as well as any other property, can be claimed by the rulers without compensation.

During a briefing in the parliamentary committee, Sasa Subban, the deputy director general of the department said a 100 properties were earmarked to be released by the end of 2019, and 100 properties in the following year financial year.

He says the North West has been identified as the province with the largest number of outstanding restitution claims, which apparently cover 93 properties.

It is often said that the Afrikaner changes his religion easier than his political party! One can almost believe that, given the fact that he allowed himself to be dragged right through the 1994 handover and into the ‘one man one vote’ state by the National Party, firmly believing that the National Party hasn’t changed at all.

We have the very same thing with Afrikaners sticking to the DA at all cost. Doesn’t matter how blatantly racist Mmusi Maimane is against white people, the Afrikaner sticks to the DA. Combine this with one of the Afrikaners favourite questions: “Who is the leader?” and you have trouble. If a leader goes awry, one should not follow him any more.

The possible syphoning off of public funds for the benefit of the ANC exposed: How Zuma friends tried to steal R45m to buy ANC votes

Jacob Zuma was successfully ousted as president just over a year ago, but his legacy of corruption has a long tail. As Marianne Thamm reports for the Daily Maverick, individuals close to Zuma appear to have been involved in an elaborate plan to siphon R45m through the police service to buy votes.

The plot centres around a police contract allegedly irregularly awarded – and at an inflated price. The Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) believes money was to be laundered for the purchasing of votes at the ANC’s national conference in December 2017. The scandal emerged in court papers.

While the ruling party, now led by President Cyril Ramaphosa, gears up for its week of annual January 8 celebrations, culminating on Saturday 12 January at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, the cosmic debris from its life-or-death 54th elective conference in 2017 keeps pockmarking the political landscape.
