The small bankrupt municipality in the Free-State which is still under administration has still managed to pay a municipal manager R2,9 million a year for 2 years, making him the best paid government official in South Africa! However his position was defunct as a Bankruptcy Administrator had been appointed, it seems, only to plunder the public coffers even more, as this “Administrator”, Moses Moremi was the one who signed the 99 Year lease to give the Gupta’s a rent free farm for the Estina Dairy scam!

It has just been revealed that Mojalefa Matlole, who just resigned as municipal manager of the Mafube municipality, the bankrupt municipality which serves Frankfort, Villiers, Tweeling and Cornelia in the Free-State, was earning a massive salary package of R2, 9 Million per year, which made him the highest paid government official in South Africa and that includes premiers, national cabinet ministers and even the vice President.

A white female teacher who stays alone has been raped a second time after the main suspect, an ex pupil, returned a few days later in Springfontein, Free State. The 47 year old white woman from the small Free State town, Springfontein told netwerk24 that “I don’t lock my doors because I don’t want to live like a prisoner“!

Her 56 year old white teacher friend was also raped in her home on the night of 21 December, and again a few days later, early in the morning of Christmas day 25 December last year. The 23 year old suspect was also in class with this victim, who is also a teacher . The race of the suspect is being hidden and not mentioned, because liberal media “virtue signal” and don’t do that as a rule, but it is suspected to be a black male.

Largest and busiest police station in Free State in dire condition – Once again proof that the current government cannot maintain the country’s infrastructure

The Park Road police station located in the Free State, Bloemfontein is by far the busiest and largest police station in the province. Unfortunately, the ANC regime allowed this building to operate without the necessary amenities, it was demolished halfway and had to operate without holding cells for more than a year.

Since the building is inoperative, approximately 50 detainees who have to appear in courts must be transported daily under police supervision to and from neighbouring detention cells situated in Bainsvlei, Bot-shabelo and Petrusburg.

Renovation work at the Park Road police station began in November 2017 after a R73 million contract was awarded to Soaring Summit Development, but according to Public Works Minister Patricia de Lille, the company failed to meet the timeframes and expectations. R84 million Free State Cuban Technical Advisers Program died a sudden death without solving the “water problem”

The Secretary-General of the ANC, and former Prime Minister of the Free State, Ace Magashule’s plan to bring Cuban engineers to South Africa to solve the Free State’s “water problems”, then wasted millions of Rand.

The so-called Cuban engineers were welcomed with a huge ceremony when they came here from Cuba for four years.

Of the 37 Cubans, who spent them as engineers, only three remain in the Free State.

Mgasjule’s impressive “Free State Cuban Technical Advisers Program, which cost taxpayers more than R84 million, then died, like so many other projects, in sudden death without the” water problem “being solved.

The eminent engineers, whose qualifications are not recognized in South Africa, also had to see that service delivery in the Free State municipalities was increased, could not make do with the ANC workers, and no positive results were achieved.

Empty promises leave Free State residents fuming, Mayor’s house burnt down due to frustration on water crisis

Mayor Mamiki Mokoena, of the Nketoana municipality, which includes Reitz, Petrus Steyn, Arlington and Lindley in the Free State, house in Petrus Steyn has been destroyed after angry residents burnt it down to show their anger towards the shortage of water in the areas.

Residents’ anger over the ongoing water crisis has apparently boiled over after no running water has been available for a week. Mokoena allegedly arranged for two tankers to deliver water to her father, Benedict Nakedi, over the weekend for an alleged family gathering. This while the rest of the township’s residents had to cope without water. These actions apparently contributed to the residents’ anger.

Free State municipal building torched by illegal protectors, regarding lack of service delivery

A municipal building was set alight in the Boshof area in the Tokologo Local Municipality in the Free State, just a few days after residents of Seretse Township near Boshof embarked on an illegal protest against the municipality on Wednesday.

Police spokesperson, Thabo Covane, tells OFM News the disgruntled residents were warned by the Public Order Police that the strike was illegal, adding the police nonetheless still escorted these residents to their destination.

Covane says during this some of these residents blocked the main road, and 26 of them – including the leader of the protest – were arrested but were later let off on a warning. He says the police have since opened a case of public violence regarding the protest and the burning of the municipal workshop in Boshof.

Covane adds residents broke into at least eight local businesses, and that police were deployed to monitor the situation. Covane says according to information the

Asbestos case involving R250, million uncovered by Pieter Louis Myburg’s book, Gangster State

After several years, the apparent corruption incident with asbestos plates on houses in the Free State is finally being investigated.

The Special Investigation Unit was commissioned by ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa to investigate the matter of R250 million.

The asbestos also secreted a fine substance that can cause asbestos poisoning, but whether it is part of the investigation is unknown.

In the Free State, 33,000 residential units have been identified with roof-top asbestos plates, and the scoring company, Blackhead-Diamond Hill, is linked to the case.

The investigation was ordered after the book, Gangster State by Pieter Louis Myburgh opened the matter.

Allegations that officials and contractors have dealt illegally with the contract to inspect the asbestos home roofs will now be investigated, but observers say the matter will ultimately lead to no one’s prosecution.

“Murder gang” arrested near Free State farm – two among them were former police officers – They did not come to rob, they were armed too heavily

They not only came to rob, they were too heavily armed, ”said Riaan Corbett, Free State Agriculture (US) security representative in Fouriesburg.

Five men, including two former Ficksburg police officers, armed with a R1 and a Norinco pistol, were arrested on Wednesday, allegedly on their way to attacking a couple in the district.

The men carried 15 bullets with them for the R1 and 7 for the pistol.

Sgt. Police spokesperson Fikiswa Matoti said police’s K9 unit and public order unit in Bethlehem received information from the Crime Intelligence Unit that the gang was planning to strike at a farm in the Fouriesburg area on Wednesday.

The attack was planned for about 10:00, according to information.

An action was organized by police and local security structures and vehicle routes closed early in the morning.

The police noticed a car suspiciously at about 07:00 and the driver was ordered to stop.

How low can you go? – Free State father hired hit-man to “take out” son since he did not want to continue paying maintenance

A father who did not want to continue paying maintenance after he retired as a teacher has been sentenced to life behind bars for arranging the murder of his own son.

Kearabetswe Molatole, 17, was found dead at his father’s home in Gladstone, Thaba ‘Nchu, in the Free State after soccer practice in April 2017.

Kelebogile Molatole, 50, Khoeliea-Marena Sefuthi, 53, and Tebogo Molatole, 47, were each sentenced to life imprisonment on Monday for the murder of Molatole’s son.

Free State police spokesperson Col Thandi Mbambo said the teenager’s cousin left him after soccer practice to buy soft drinks at a shop.

“On his return he found Kearabetswe lying in a pool of blood in the back room of his father’s house … Police were summoned and it was discovered that the boy had been shot in the head and chest,” Mbambo said in a statement.

ANC governed Municipality that owes worker R100 Million faces Prosecution For Alleged Cheating With Employee Benefits

Free State Kopanong Municipality (area of Edenburg and Trompsburg) owes its employees about R100 million in pension, medical aid and insurance policies.

In the midst of evident evidence, the Hawks Unit has stopped the investigation for unknown reasons.

The municipality is now facing prosecution for alleged cheating with the workers’ benefits, which will probably be held in the High Court.

The SA Municipal Workers Union, which started the case, says they believe the investigation has been stopped by the Hawks “to act outside political influences”.

However, a Hawk spokesman emerged and denied that the investigation had ceased and said the fraud case was still under investigation by Captain Makgetla.

However, observers are asking why the case is taking so long while all the necessary evidence is available at the municipal offices.
