Afrikaner author, publisher and commentator Dan Roodt calls Lesufi non-‘South African’ ‘racist’

Afrikaner author, publisher and commentator Dan Roodt took to Twitter on Thursday to call out Gauteng education MEC Panyaza Lesufi on his vow that names of historical leaders, used for example in Hoërskool Hendrik Verwoerd in Tshwane, would be replaced by new ones.

The education MEC says he will take the author ‘to the cleaners’ and that he ‘will apologise’ for saying the MEC is not a South African. Roodt accused Lesufi of making “racist statements about Afrikaans and Afrikaners”.

“What right does this racist have to remove Verwoerd’s name from anything? Lesufi is isn’t even South African! (sic),” Roodt tweeted.

In a video posted on social media earlier on Thursday, Lesufi maintained that names such as Verwoerd would continue to fall until there were no names reminding South Africans of the past.

WATCH | Zuma mocks his critics on Twitter ahead of state capture appearance singing “Zuma must fall, Zuma must Fall!”

A video clip of former president Jacob Zuma dancing and mocking his critics was posted on social networking site Twitter on Sunday afternoon.

Dressed in a black suit and white shirt, a laughing Zuma is seen dancing while singing: “Zuma must fall! Zuma must fall!”

The tweet was posted around lunchtime on Sunday, the day before his much-anticipated appearance before the state capture inquiry chaired by Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo.

Reaction to the video clip ranged from people saying he was smoking dope to others saying he would always remain their leader, no matter what.

ANC lays criminal charges against Steve Hofmeyr after his tweet: “And when you come to take our lives and land, you will die. ” But it’s OK if the EFF and BLF say Land or Die?

In a seemingly sarcastic new tweet on Monday, the singer on Monday said he had ‘reversed’ his original post.

The governing ANC said it would on Monday lay charges against Afrikaans musician Steve Hofmeyr for his “racist and inhumane” rants on social media directed at ambassador to Denmark Zindzi Mandela and DA (Democratic Alliance) MP (Member of Parliament), Phumzile Van Damme.

The ANC said in a statement: “Hofmeyr issued death threats against South Africa’s Ambassador to Denmark, Zindzi Mandela-Hlongwane and DA MP Phumzile Van Damme. The ANC urges South Africans to isolate people that continue to promote racism in our country and remains resolute in its campaign of building a non-racial, democratic and prosperous society.

Steve Hofmeyr criticized Mandela after her outburst against whites on social network – as taxpayer they are obliged to obey his orders

Steve Hofmeyr, the well-known Afrikaans singer, has become grievous over the past few days with his remarks on Twitter and did not hesitate to address the ambassador Zindzi Mandela.

In a word struggle he made Mandela, and the DA’s Van Damme understand that he was a taxpayer, and therefore they would be obliged to obey his orders.

He said in a Twitter comment he was a taxpayer, their boss, and so they would jump when he said jump, and they must then ask how high they should jump.

Steve’s attack on the two follows after Mandela had made racist rants on the network against whites, which also led to several institutions demanding that Mandela must be fired.

The scam has reported already cost a South African family hoping to immigrate to Canada R100 000. Residents of several African countries have been warned about an immigration scam doing the rounds on social media claiming Canada president Justin Trudeau is begging for new immigrants from the continent.

The fraudulent ‘news’ article reportedly first appeared online in early 2019 and was widely shared across various social media networks including Facebook, Reddit, Twitter, and even WhatsApp.

The story claimed Canada had instituted a new employment and migration program designed specifically for people from African countries like South Africa, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, and Kenya.

“The hoax is part of an elaborate scam that is defrauding thousands of dollars from victims,” Beaver Immigration Consulting said in a statement released to the press.

Mngxitama calls De Vos a ‘f***ing racist’ for refusing to help BLF, that happens all the time, if you don’t want to help then they pull a ‘red card’ on you called ‘your a ‘f***ing racist’

The BLF leader wanted the law expert to sign on as a ‘friend of the court’ in the Freedom Front Plus’s case against them.

Constitutional law expert Professor Pierre de Vos took to Twitter to tell his side of what happened when controversial Black First Land First (BLF) leader Andile Mngxitama gave him a call.

“Andile phoned me last week to ask me to help with their court case. I said no thanks because he and his ‘party’ has an enormous credibility problem. His response: ‘You are a f***ing racist’,” De Vos tweeted, adding that his response was to laugh.

A black man has called out Julius Malema, stating that he doesn’t have the moral qualification and administrative acumen to be the president of South Africa.

This is as the heat is building up for the may 2019 election keeps going up..there have been mixed feelings from lots of South Africans on who or which party to vote for.

All the political parties are asking the electorates to vote for them with various promises of doing better than the ANC.

Malema who took to his Twitter handle earlier yesterday to comment on an issue concerning the alleged plot to remove the EFF from the ballot paper said that “no one can do that.”
