Hand in the till? The Road Accident Fund is yet another parasitic parastatale hijacked by ANC gangsters, to openly fleece and rob the taxpayer. RAF’s debt is now getting as bad as Eskom debt levels and lawyers are in on the looting, getting about a quarter of its yearly income, with a self inflicted debt rising to R800 BILLION in the next 5 years! Will they plunder our pension funds to pay this corruption fueled debt too?

Even without the 56 murders a day, rapes and violence, the ANC is the greatest virus that ever hit South Africa, or any other country for that matter. The Corona virus is a storm in a teacup compared against the havoc that the ANC has wreaked on South Africa in the last 26 years. Like a virus, the disease of corruption, bribery and out and out theft has become endemic in all parts, departments and branches of the ANC regime.

Cash-strapped Road Accident Fund struggles to pay billions in outstanding debt – This is just another SOE that is collapsing under ANC-regime’s rule

As thousands of road accident victims are anxiously waiting to be compensated by the cash-strapped Road Accident Fund (RAF) following court orders in their favour, the Gauteng High Court, Pretoria, is expected to soon deal with the fund’s inability to pay up.

Hundreds of claimants recently turned to the court where they had obtained an urgent order to attach eight of the RAF’s Absa bank accounts. The bank was ordered to use the proceeds from the accounts to pay the 346 injured victims.

The RAF in turn headed to court last month, in which it wanted this order lifted, as it said it simply couldn’t afford to pay these claimants, as its outstanding debt was more than R17billion. The fund said it couldn’t operate without its bank accounts as it is was struggling to stay afloat.

This application was not entertained by the urgent court, which meant that the bank accounts remained attached. But it came to light that the RAF then instruct

About R1 billion fraudulent applications is suspected in Road Accident Fund – more than 514 cases investigated

The Road Accident Fund, which is funded directly from fuel levies, has announced that around R1 billion is involved in fraudulent applications in the 2017/18 financial year.

About 514 cases are currently being investigated by the SAPS. Investigations by the Fraud Division of the Fund led to a large number of lawyers being scrapped from the role and doctors and police officers arrested.

The corruption and theft will not come to an end, and the billion rand lost by this is probably the main reason for the ultimate junk status in South Africa.
