One of the reasons left wing liberals are called snowflakes is because it does not take much to make them melt and give up any reason or principle, and like a snowflake hitting the warm ground, the controversial far left wing Editor of News24, Adriaan Basson’s feelings towards “thousands of pensioners whose livelihood depends on the GEPF“, quickly melted and turned into a callous “We have run out of money and options – pensions will bail out Eskom.”  Seems for some reason Adriaan Basson now supports the plan to plunder your pensions!

Universities and the new SA – Barbaric actions of “previously disadvantaged groups” destroy tertiary institutions across the country free education

The 2020 academic year has not yet begun and students are already busy. The SA Student Union has called on students to boycott all registration processes until their requirements have been met. Students’ student debt should now be written off while it has already been admitted that some students do not have to pay registration fees. Violent protests have already taken place at three tertiary institutions viz. Natal University, Potchefstroom University or North-West University and the University of SA. Northwestern University closed their campus at Mahikeng and ordered students to leave campus.

What is happening now is a continuation of violence and destruction of the properties of tertiary institutions in recent years. Students’ tireless actions have caused billions of dollars worth of damage to universities and technikons. The process is, of course, the result of the destruction of schools throughout the country.

MultiChoice plans to cut 2,194 jobs – Seems like the pay channel is losing revenue after the Ghoema and Steve Hofmyer debacle

MultiChoice may retrench over 2,000 employees in its call centres and walk-in customer service centres, according to a statement from the ICTU trade union.

ICTU spokesperson Thabang Mothelo told MyBroadband that the plan was put in place without the union being consulted, and they are convening urgent meetings to address the issue.

In a statement to media, MultiChoice said that it will enter into a consultation process with 2,194 of its employees “within Customer Care and the Walk-in Centres”.

This is part of the “strategic realignment of its customer service delivery model”, said the company.

“The realignment is a response to the changing behaviour of its customers, who are increasingly moving away from traditional voice calls and visits to Walk-in Centres and adopting new self-service and digital technologies to engage with the company.”

MultiChoice said it will make new roles available for multi-skilled employees.</p

Boycott South African Airways – Here’s why!

Boycott SAA because it wastes R5 billion annually. That could fund 120 000 university students, 50 000 RDP houses, 10 (300-bed) hospitals, 300 schools, or 30 000 police.

It is your patriotic duty to do so.

If you are unpatriotic, it is your ethical duty.

If you are unethical, it is your familial duty.

If you have no family, it is your selfish duty.

If you are a selfless hermit, fly SAA.

It can liberate enough wealth to save 1 000 babies through improved paediatric care and prevent thousands of rapes and murders through improved policing.

This is the social cost inflicted when government diverts spending from worthy causes to flights of folly.

Boycott SAA because the multi-year numbers are worse.
