Sixteen farm owners have so far applied for interdicts to stop the Black First Land First (BLF) from occupying farmland of which five have been granted within a week in two separate matters.
In the latest case, Judge Derek Wille on Monday granted an order in favor of Zindro Properties (Pty) Ltd, Trikores (Pty) Ltd, Altydgedacht Durbanville (Pty) and Antikes (Pty) Ltd.
The order interdicts and restrains the BLF from erecting or attempting to erect any form of structure on the properties; occupying the property; or unlawfully demonstrating at or within 200m from the property or uttering threats of invasion.
The properties were purchased for around R71million.
In terms of the order the SA Police Services assisted by law enforcement agencies, as required, are also authorized and directed to take steps to prevent an unlawful deprivation of rights to property arising from any invasion or occupation.

The Electoral Court in Johannesburg brought two warring parties face-to-face on Monday, as Black First Land First (BLF) and Freedom Front Plus (FF+) fought their cases diligently. Both parties have claimed victory in their duel, but can we really take anyone’s word for it?
BLF vs FF+: What did the courts say?
The BLF – known for their bombastic brand of rhetoric – were jubilant after the proceedings, claiming the judge’s decision was a vindication of their “black-only” membership policy. The FF+ have declared their position unconstitutional, and want their political nemesis banned from the 2019 Elections.
The court decided on Monday afternoon that the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) should not have dismissed FF+’s appeal straight away. They have set aside that decision, meaning that the Chief Electoral Officer of the Commission must now make a decision on the matter “imminently”.

In a shocking tweet posted on Friday the 14th of December 2018, the national spokesperson for Black First Land First, Lindsay Maasdorp, celebrated the brutal murder of an elderly couple, who was shot and killed whilst sleeping in their beds, on their farm in the Western Cape.
This comes after Black First Land First leader, Andile Mngxitama, last week said that for every one black person killed they would kill five white people, including women and children.
Two elderly victims, male and female, were both shot dead in their bed whilst sleeping according to Ian Cameron of Afriforum.
The SAHRC, as well as many civil rights organisations and political parties, indicated that they would lay charges against BLF and take the matter further legally.

The extremely radical and controversial leader of the Black First Land First (BLF) says there will be violence if the Independent Electoral Commission refuses to register its party for the forthcoming municipal elections of 2019.
He made the remark after it was disclosed that the BLF may not participate in the election in terms of the constitution that clearly notes that the conduct of hate speech and declaring of genocide is condemned.
He raised the threat during a media interview with reporters and said if the IEC prevented him from participating in the forthcoming election, violence would break out in South Africa.
Earlier, in a speech, he encouraged his audience to kill white people, which led to severe reactions from different resorts.
Meanwhile, it is expected that President Ramaphosa will act or at least give a warning but it did not happen.

DA Spokesperson Solly Malatsi has filed an official complaint with the SA Human Rights commission, following comments made at a Black First Land First (BLF) rally in Potchefstroom on Sunday 9 December.
The group, known for harassing journalists and saying anything for attention, seem to have emulated the latter after leader Andile Mngxitama vowed to kill white citizens following Johann Rupert’s interview with eNCA.
