Zuma branded as defaulter, owes R12,517 for unpaid school fees, maybe he must consider subsidy?

It is not only the arrears of the Nkandla bond that make Zuma a defaulter, but also the fact that his children’s unpaid school fees earns him the title.

The liquidators of the bankrupt declared VBS Bank now hope to get their money by auctioning the Nkandla unit, but it is still a lengthy process before it is going to happen.

Political analysts say Zuma has the ability to postpone all actions and court cases against him with reasons that are sometimes somewhat laughable.

Whether the former ANC leader has no money and whether he is merely a defaulter remains an unanswered question, because to date one of his children’s school fees is also overdue.

A high school near Durban has now issued an order against Zuma and his fourth wife, one Nompumelelo Ntuli, 44, for unpaid school fees amounting to R12,517-00.

Unemployment is such a critical issue that he was renaming the department of labour, President Cyril Ramaphosa announced on Wednesday – and in name at least, jobs is now the first priority for the minister of employment and labour.

To that post Ramaphosa appointed Thulas Nxesi – who became deeply embroiled in covering up the extent to which then President Jacob Zuma had benefitted from massive state spending on his private residence in Nkandla.

Ramaphosa has made the right noises about the importance of small business and entrepreneurship in boosting the economy, and has acknowledged that small businesses face issues such as red tape that are directly within the control of his administration. The fact that he kept a ministry of small business while downsizing his cabinet drew praise.

Former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi’s missing millions hidden at Jacob Zuma’s Nkandla?

Just before his death in 2011 Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi entrusted around R400m in cash to then president Jacob Zuma for safe keeping at his Nkandla residence.

Libyan military authorities have asked President Cyril Ramaphosa to help recover a stash of cash, estimated to about R442m, belonging to the late Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi, that is now believed to be in Eswatini (formerly Swaziland), according to The Sunday Times.

King Mswati III reportedly confirmed the existence of the money to Ramaphosa last week during a meeting at OR Tambo International Airport.

According to the Sunday Times’ sources, Zuma travelled to Libya in 2011 with then intelligence minister Siyabonga Cwele, where the delegation offered the Libyan leader safe passage to SA as rebel forces closed in.

Radovan Krejcir says he recorded a meeting where he gave millions to the Zuma family, in exchange for political asylum in South Africa.

It wouldn’t be a Tuesday morning without catching up with the latest developments from the murky world of Jacob Zuma. It’s a case of another week, and another grubby revelation regarding corruption, as convicted gangster Radovan Krejcir has submitted a detailed affidavit to the police.

Who is Radovan Krejcir?
As City Press report, Krejcir is currently serving 35 years behind bars for drug-dealing, kidnapping and the attempted murder of Bhekithemba Lukhele in June 2013.

However, back in 2011, he claims that he attempted to fast-track himself to political asylum in South Africa, paying a visit to the Zuma homestead.
