Dros rapists Nicholas Ninow pleads – Hope he rot in prison, piece of Schum!

Shocking details of how Nicholas Ninow raped a seven-year-old girl at a Dros restaurant in Silverton emerged on Monday when he pleaded guilty in the Pretoria high court.

Ninow, 21, disclosed what he did to the child when she opened the toilet door as he took drugs, and how he flushed away her underwear to conceal evidence.

In addition to rape, he pleaded guilty to possession of drugs and defeating the ends of justice. He pleaded not guilty to assault. The state withdrew a charge of kidnapping.

In his plea explanation, read by his counsel Herman Alberts, Ninow said on the day of the incident in September 2018, he had consumed alcohol after taking a drug known as Cat.

Ninow said he had also taken “substantial” amounts of the drug a few days before the day of the incident.

Zuma found guilty to a charge of defamation and must pay R500,000 to former minister Derek Hanekom

Jacob Zuma, the ANC’s former president, who was busy with corruption during his reign, was found guilty in court of naming his former minister, Derek Hanekom.

Zuma allegedly said on the social network that Hanekom was an old spy of the enemy, which led to a court case in which Hanekom claimed R500,000 against Zuma.

The court ruled that Zuma should remove the offended comment on the social network, and he must properly apologize to Hanekom for his false accusation.

His legal representatives filed an appeal on Friday in an effort to set aside the Natal Supreme Court’s finding.

Judge Dhaya Pillay ordered Zuma to apologize to Derek Hanekom within 24 hours and remove the entry on the social network earlier, and is also responsible for the court costs.

Zuma’s lawyers say he did not portray Hanekom as a spy, but only as an agent of the enemy.

Be vigilant when employing domestic workers – Domestic worker found guilty of employer’s murder

A domestic worker and two accomplices were found guilty of the murder of a Durban pensioner that took place two years ago.

Happiness Mkhize, a 35-year-old domestic worker, was found guilty of the murder of her employer in the Durban High Court on Friday.

Judge Mahendra Chetty ruled that, while she may not have participated in the killing, she acted with one purpose with the killers.

Mkhize’s accomplices Doctor Mabhida, 41, and Sibongiseni Gumbi, 31 were also found guilty of murder and aggravated robbery.

State advocate Khatija Essack presented evidence that Mkhize brought the two men to the home of Shallcross pensioner, Menrani Brijlal, under the pretense of buying a fridge. Once inside the residence, the assailants bound and gagged Brijlal. An investigation of the crime scene found the elderly woman had been struck on the head with a brick and strangled with an apron.

Let this be a lesson for South Africa, that racism isn’t colour blind – Head of basic police development, Major General Sandra Malebe-Thema found guilty of racism

The trade union Solidarity today announced that the South African Police Service (SAPS), found the Head of Basic Police Development, Major-General Sandra Malebe-Thema guilty of racism.

According to Anton van der Bijl, Head of Legal Service at Solidarity, Malebe-Thema made herself guilty of racist and humiliating remarks towards various training personnel during an event at the SAPS Training Academy in Oudtshoorn, in 2016. Van der Bijl also said that the General stated that there were too many white faces occupying positions in training and that the so-called discrimination against black students will be stopped. “During the same event she also made inappropriate comments about a selected group of personnel’s clothing and weight,” Van der Bijl confirmed.

The trade union acted immediately by submitting a formal complaint to the Human Rights Commission (HRC) in Cape Town, in November 2016. Solidarity maintained the pressure by turning to the Labour
