BLF found guilty of hate speech, criminal charges may follow – But they are not going to remove the slogan and  not going to apologize either

Andile Mngxitama’s Black First Land First has been ordered to issue a written apology to all South Africans within a  month.

The Equality Court has found that the Black First Land First (BLF) political slogan on land is hate speech.

The clerk of the Equality Court was directed to send a copy of the judgment to the director of public prosecutions, “for possible institution of criminal proceedings against the BLF and its leaders,” Buang Jones‏, an attorney at the SA Human Rights Commission, tweeted on Monday.

The BLF regularly used the slogans “kill the boer”, “one settler, one bullet’ and ‘land or death’.

The BLF was also ordered to remove the slogans from its regalia, social media accounts and website within a month.

In addition, the BLF was ordered to issue a written apology to all South Africans within a  month.

A photo of the injured teenager was shared on social media after she jumped out of a moving car she was forced into after being robbed.

A white VW Citi Golf has been thrown into the spotlight after its occupants were allegedly involved in the attempted kidnapping of a teenager in Discovery, Roodepoort, on Monday, reports Roodepoort Record.

A photo of the injured teenager was shared on social media after she jumped out of a moving car that she was forced into earlier that day.

The teenager’s older sister said: “Guys, please be safe when you’re out walking. We nearly lost Krys, my baby sister [the victim]. She had her phone and money stolen and was pulled into a white Citi Golf by three guys. Luckily she managed to jump out of the moving car, but she was badly hurt”.

She appealed for any information about the vehicle since her sister was unable to see the registration of the car.

The person who told a harmless beggar “I’m a very nice guy, I’m a very giving person” while refusing him R2 for bread because of the colour of his skin AND while taking a video to humiliate him further on social media, has been identified as Lindo Buthelezi.

The video starts shortly after the white beggar asks for R2 to buy bread.

“I’m a very nice guy. I’m a very giving person, but my forefathers will kill me if I had to give R2 to a white guy.”
