Cyril Ramaphosa, the president of our failed rainbow nation, wants to merge several ministries after 25 years of mismanagement and reduce the number of provinces.
The number of ministers will be reduced from 34 to 25 with only 15 deputy ministers.
The number of provinces should be reduced to six. Currently, there are 35 ministers and 37 deputy ministers in the ANC Cabinet.
Economists believe it will make no contribution to getting the country out of its economic dilemma, and consider it “too small for a big problem”.
