#AbuseOfPower In yet another example of police officers disobeying lockdown regulations and abusing their power, high ranking police officers whose illegal activity was filmed by a neighbourhood watch member at a popular pub, Chillas in Vanderbijlpark, assaulted the cameraman and deleted the footage! This nationwide abuse of power and petty vindictive interpretation of the law in many cases, by the police has many wondering if the lockdown regulations are turning SA into a corrupt Police State.
Mr Wayne Scholtz (53), a Neighborhood watch member from Vanderbijlpark, was assaulted on Wednesday in front of a popular pub in Vanderbijlpark when he stopped to take a cellphone video of a group of men, including police officers, standing outside the well known pub drinking beer. Eskom Sinks To Lowest Output Ever, With Dim Outlook, Despite Two New White Managers Tasked With Reversing Mind Numbing Corruption From 25 Years of ANC Plunder & Misrule!

Eskom has reached a historic low in terms of output during the last month. This slow rot and decay is then also the historic achievement, or lowpoint of the ANC, with its implementation of mind numbing and all pervasive corruption, crony tender practices and their Africanization or black quota recruitment policies and cadre deployment program.
In other words their implementation of #TheAfricanWay has finally led to more than a third of Eskom’s installed generating capacity being out of order in January 2020. Only 61,5% of its generating units are able to produce power at the moment. Chris Yelland, an energy expert, told Netwerk24 that this is the worst performance level for Eskom ever.

Brace yourself for stage 8 #RollingBlackOuts or 10-hour daily blackout, as municipalities are preparing for the worst

Eskom was forced to implement stage 6 load shedding in December – its worst ever blackout – sending the country into a panic as not many people were aware of what that stage actually meant for them.
Municipalities too, were caught off-guard, with Johannesburg electricity distributor City Power saying at the time that it had no load-shedding schedule for Stage 6.
The year is 2020, and generation and maintenance challenges continue to mount at the state company which generates 96% of South Africa’s electricity.
As a result, all municipalities have been advised to adjust their load shedding schedule up to stage 8, the Buffalo City Municipality said in a statement on Saturday (11 January).
With each stage representing a curtailment of 5% of the national load, stage 8 will equate to 40% of the load being shed, the municipality said.

In a recent interview with ENCA, energy analyst Chris Yelland spoke to the inaccuracies of Eskom’s latest load shedding excuses.
The latest
Eskom’s latest excuse for the energy blackout points at cyclone Idai affecting power production, and the transmission of electricity from supplier Mozambique.
This seems to be a valid excuse until Yelland points out the flawed logic. With Stage 4 load shedding in effect, South Africa (SA) is short 4,000-megawatts of electricity. Yet, Mozambique only supplies SA with 1,000-megawatts of electricity – a 3,000-megawatt difference. Yelland believes cyclone Idai would only have contributed a small part to the current energy crisis.
