The ANC president, Cyril Ramaphosa, announced his new cabinet which is considerably smaller than the one with which Zuma bankrupted the country.
What is surprising is that Ramaphosa has appointed his benefactors, with or without clarity of their innocence.
Mabuza is the deputy president because during the ANC meeting, Ramaphosa was elected president by giving 300 votes from the Eastern Transvaal.
Pravin Gordhan was re-admitted to the cabinet amid the fact that his name has not yet been honored with the court case against the PP.
The appointment of De Lill, the leader of Good Party as minister, is a strange phenomenon, especially since there is no record that the ANC has had good discussions.
Zuma’s 36 ministers have been reduced to 28 ministers, and 50% of the cabinet consists of women.
The Deputy President is David Mabuza.
The Minister of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development is Thoko Didiza.
