The economically liberal publication The Economist described Cyril Ramaphosa as an “honest reformer” and the one who can redress the country. Not mentioning that ANC President Ramaphosa was second in command during the “wasted Zuma” years.
In 2014, the magazine supported the DA but is now turning to the ANC. Ramaphosa is apparently trying to save the legacy of the terrorist Mandela, but Helen Zille attacked the site because of their support for the ANC.
The magazine has been known for its cloak-turning when it comes to contemporary politics, and observers say the newspaper is also not well-known for high-profile reporting.
