The former finance minister, Trevor Manuel, expressed his frustration of the poor leadership of parliamentarians.
He requested senior ANC members to teach current ANC leaders to do their job better.
He reckons that the “law of the jungle” should no longer be a rule and that people should be taught what a balance sheet is and what the figures in the state mean.
Someone who addresses other people as “comrades” cannot just sit in parliament and get away with doing absolutely nothing, Manuel said.
