It is tragic that the courts have to protect the true diversity of South Africa, with a dozen languages, from the ANC regime, and it remains unfortunate that the ANC government preaches diversity, yet applies monolingualism. This ruling is appropriate on the eve of Heritage Day, in that it recognized the language rights of students, and imposes a specific obligation with regard to execution on Unisa. It is equally unfortunate that language and cultural communities have to turn to the courts in the final instance, to claim their rights as diverse languages with specific reference to Afrikaans, especially at historically Afrikaans universities.

The Chinese, Beijing Foreign Studies University, announced that a Zulu department was set up at the institution.
The department who will now offer Zulu as an undergraduate subject, raises the suspicion that there is an hidden agenda regarding the new language being presented at their campus since it is used only in South-Africa.
The possibility that it will be used to equip prospective Chinese who will be “sent” to South Africa with the language of the Zulu. There is already an abundance of Chinese shop owners in the country who have no benefit to the economy of the country’s residents as only Chinese-made items are sold by Chinese stores.
SARS has already threw in the towel a number of years to check the Chinese traders for VAT payments as well as income tax.

If its not ESKOM that don’t want people to speak Afrikaans now pupils reject being taught in Afrikaans

The Western Cape Education Department has scheduled a meeting with representatives of aggrieved Diazville High School pupils who protested against being taught in Afrikaans.

WCED spokesperson Bronagh Hammond said the pupils had handed over a letter of their demands.
