TAU SA’s Young Farmers call on the President to obey the concerns and fears that white young people have over South Africa.
TAU SA is not at all impressed with President Cyril Ramaphosa’s plea to white people to stay in the country. So far, he has been delivering only electoral talks that are constantly adapted depending on the audience he is talking to.
Pres Ramaphosa – as part of his pre-election campaign – called for young, white South Africans not to leave the country. He said he wanted the group, with their skills in the country.
“We hope these words are not just empty election promises,” said Mr Ferdie Landman, chairman of TAU SA Young Farmers. “We also want to make it clear that, as white young people, we feel unwelcome and unsafe in the country.
“There are several things that worry us and make greener pastures considered outside the country,” he explains.
