A black man who raped a white woman in her farmhouse and tormented her children was found guilty on 17 counts in the Port Elizabeth High Court.
Officer Piet Smit said he had to take a day off the day he escorted Sebenzile Simane to court. “He told me he had no regret whatsoever and he would do it a thousand more times if he could”
“He told me he likes to see white people suffer, I don’t know whether he was just saying it to piss me off because I am a white man or that how he actually feels but it hurts either way”
“That man has the devil inside of him, he was smiling at me like he had accomplished something very great”. Smit said he went to see a therapist after his brief encounter with Sebenzile Simane.
