A bishop was arrested by police, after alleging that the ANC’s deputy president, David Mabuza is a murderer about a year ago.
Bishop Hangwi Maumela, apparently said the ANC could not afford to appoint a murderer as deputy president of the country. He apparently added that the country had to choose people who didn’t sleep around and murder. The bishop was the speaker at an ANC faction’s event whom attempted to nominate someone else who could conquer Mabuza in an election.
Police say the bishop has not been true to his word and handed himself over to the law as he said he would, he is likely to be charged for defamation and fake information.
