Public Protecter wants clear Gordhan’s name after accusations that he was involved in so-called privatization of the SA Reserve Bank

The Public Protector, Busisiwe Mkhwebane, said she was only trying clear Minister Pravin Gordhan’s name to end a dispute.

Mkhwebane alleges that the minister interferes with her investigation after Gordhan putted his legal representative on her.

The investigation is being conducted following the so-called privatization of the SA Reserve Bank which the minister has been accused of.

Earlier, the Public Protecter extended the time to Gordhan to respond to allegations that he was involved in the matter, claiming that she had the opportunity to clear the minister’s name.

She told the media that the minister should rather be pleased that the matter was being brought to a conclusion, but then he started interfering in the investigation of a complaint that was being put to the EFF.

Vrede Milk Farm” trial begins – Seems like Ace Magashule, was at the forefront of the project’s decisions

The controversial project of so-called dairy farming job creation just outside the Free State town of Vrede’s public hearing started with the Public Protector at the forefront.

It is believed that the OB has a long list of names that can testify to “how much they have lost” with the project that the Gupta family has been fighting with the Free State ANC government.

The members of the black community of Vrede in particular are involved in the controversial project, whose profitability one day is questioned by agricultural experts.

The OB, which is considered by opinion makers as a Zuma supporter because the former ANC president had appointed her, will be tested in the investigation involving Zuma’s friends.

ANC secretary-general Ace Magashule: We don’t need white votes’ but on the other hand he says ‘we are a nonracial organisation’

While ANC internal polls show a greater white engagement since Cyril Ramaphosa became president, the party insists it’s the black vote that counts.

ANC secretary-general Ace Magashule has downplayed suggestions that Ramaphoria – the mood of positivity around President Cyril Ramaphosa – will see white South Africans voting for the party in big numbers in the May 8 general election.

Magashule told City Press that this “did not make sense” as the ANC’s support was not based on colour.

“There are democratic, progressive whites who will vote ANC because we are a nonracial organization in character.

“But I am saying that the majority of our people and voters are those who were oppressed – blacks in general.

“There are whites who believe in democracy and nonracialism. They have been there for many years. But to think that whites, generally, will vote for the ANC this time around, for me, does not make sense.

Cyril Ramaphosa, Minister Bheki Cele and Minister Tito Mboweni NAMED AND SHAMED

Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane named and shamed those that defied her instructions today and the top names include Cyril Ramaphosa, Minister Tito Mboweni and Minister Bheki Cele.

“If you are a minister, you should be respecting the Constitution and the rule of law.”

With fifty top heads of state outlined including the President, the Finance Minister and Police Minister how should the nation feel about our leaders….trusting and confident?

Mkhwebane said despite budget constraints, she is forced to take various matters to court to force state organs into action.

“We’re here to support and strengthen our constitutional democracy. We are not here to be antagonistic.”

Mbalula receives R680,000 for family vacation in Dubai, it is not sure whether taxpayers have funded a portion of holiday

Despite the findings by the Public Protector that Mbalula has received at least R300,000 from Sedgars Sport for a family vacation in Dubai, the ANC still declared their full confidence in him. The National Prosecuting Authority has indicated that they will check the OB’s report before deciding whether to prosecute.

The ride cost R680,000 and it is still unknown who paid for the balance.

Observers believe that the ANC president has not yet realized that it is the irregularities that pinch South Africa’s economy because foreign investors perceive all the horrors.
