Johann Rupert is quoted in a book written by Pieter du Toit, the Stellenbosch Mafia, and says that SA is on the verge of an abyss, with the particular possibility that David Mabuza could become the next president of the country.
Rupert apparently lost his faith in the ANC-regime despite his close ties with Mandela, Mbeki and Ramaphosa in the late nineties.
His children have already left the country because of the dangerous situation in SA and the personal attacks on him and his family. He further claims that his phone is being “tapped” and claims that there will be riots in the country if Ramaphosa does not restructure the country’s economy.
However, Rupert no longer has confidence in Ramaphosa to get the country right.
