Home invasion victim Braam Blignault lost both his legs from wounds suffered during a home invasion and is waiting to die after contracting an infection and does not even have money for morphine to dull the pain. He is now at home waiting to die, the state hospital has said they can do no more for him.
This family cannot afford health insurance and therefore they cannot afford the morphine he needs to stay comfortable and at least make the most of the time he has left with his wife and kids. He has an infection in his pelvis and a septic wound where the skin is too weak to be stitched together.
