SA’s high unemployment rates are swept in front of Eskom’s door

Mining houses and corporate businesses are accusing Eskom for the high unemployment rates since their pathetic service delivery is causing uncertainty in the economy.

Several institutions announcing in recent weeks that they would need to start retrenchments, unemployment has increased alarmingly rapidly and even greater retrenchments are provided.

The uncertainty caused by Eskom in the supply of electricity has forced many mining houses to generate self-sufficient power, but which is far more expensive than using the national power supply.

Eskom is also accused of being directly responsible for the poor economic situation and the fact that foreign investors are not interested if power supply cannot be guaranteed in South-Africa.

Unemployment has now reached the 29% level, which is the highest in history, and employment is estimated at 52% according to figures applicable for December.

SA liquidations increase by over 53% – economy’s poor performance is attributed to power supply, violence conditions, strikes, corruption, etc.

While the ANC president, Cyril Ramaphosa made huge promises of foreign investors and many jobs for the 28% who are looking for jobs and not getting, new setbacks are coming to the surface.

The number of liquidations recorded in South Africa has increased by 50% during April this year, indicating the real state of the country.

Companies are losing the battle one after another due to the rough condition in the country.

Economists point out that a country’s growth is closely linked to power supply, violence, strikes, corruption, and a number of other factors.

Liquidations increased by just over 53% while in February and March it was less than 10% compared to previous periods.

What makes this remarkable is that the largest number of businesses voluntarily went into liquidation, which means there is no confidence in the business that the country’s economy will improve.

While the Western world is watching what the ANC president, Cyril Ramaphosa, is going to do with regards to the land-grabbing program, it becomes clearer that he has a clever approach towards to upcoming election.

Political analysts point out that the president suddenly no longer focus on the country’s well-developed farms as a target in his quest.

There is apparently one explanation for this, that is the fear that the country will go without food and scare away the foreign investors.

Now, state land, and unutilized land is becoming the object and it will only become prominent among people’s attention after the election.

The land distribution program came because of two elements that threatened the ANC. Firstly, the Malema radicals have instigated illegal land grab action that impressed many black voters, and secondly, the ANC had to get something new to retain its voters, a political analyst

ANC’s double talk – Ramaphose and Magashule’s statements on the independence of the Reserve Bank contradict each other and are damaging the confidence of investors – There is no doubt that the ANC-regime is leading SA to a downfall

The ANC president, Cyril Ramaphosa and Magashule’s statements about the independence of the Reserve Bank, clearly contradict each other.

While Ramaphosa is trying to reassure voters as well as the outside world that the Reserve Bank will remain independent, his fellow companion is confusing investors.

He said in a statement that the Reserve Bank would be nationalized over the next five years.

Economists declare that the ANC’s election manifesto is a call for investors to secure their money. The manifesto does not outline a positive image for investors, banks and pension funds and insurers.
