The Auditor General’s (AG) report for the 2018/19 financial year, which reads like a crime novel, found that the Bloemfontein Metro had R2 BILLION wasted on corruption and spent R 268 Million more than it earned, and that it owes creditors R135 Million more than what it’s  assets are worth. But it seems that’s all OK, because ANC stands for Africans Normalising Crime.

Anyone know how an all expenses trip to the Durban July for Councillors helps local residents in Potchefstroom and Ventersdorp? Chris Hattingh of the  DA says the combined municipality for Potchefstroom and Ventersdorp (called JB Marks) is run like an organized crime syndicate and available facts prove it.

Of course stealing and plundering is just #TheAfricanWay and wherever things are run hy a black majority, there will be stealing and plundering. It’s their culture as both Zuma and Mbeki admitted. #TheAfricanWay at PRASA – Are you sure you want to get on that train? Management at PRASA have looted all the money, even for train brakes, now they are scratching around in old drums looking for old second hand parts to use!

An official inspection by the the Rail Safety Regulator (RSR) at the Braamfontein maintenance premises of PRASA, has found that they don’t have a single train brake set in stock, and can’t replace worn brake parts on PRASA trains. This finding by the Rail Safety Regulator has been officially communicated to Prasa in a letter addressed to them on 22 January.

PRASA has been ordered to provide the RSR with proof that it intends to solve the shortage of brake block sets and Prasa has also been ordered to provide assurances and proof that all brake block sets on trains are in a safe serviceable order. Matjhabeng Municipality in Freestate Goldfields Makes Billions of Rands Evaporate Just Like Water, Which Has Now Stopped Flowing Due To Insufficient Funds!

Free State Goldfield towns of  Hennenman, Odendaalsrus & Riebeeckstad are without water as shocking figures about non payment to service providers, by the local municipality has been revealed. Matjhabeng municipality owes over R5.5 BILLION to Eskom & Sedibeng Water!

A pump at the service provider of water to the local municipality, called  Matjhabeng, has broken and left residents of the Free State Goldfields – Hennenman, Odendaalsrus and Riebeeckstad, without water since Friday. The local agency providing water, Sedibeng Water, says it is doing what it can to fix the pump that has broken and  even if everything goes well, the water wouldn’t start flowing before Sunday afternoon.

R200,000 Spent on Luxury Rental Car by Mokopane (Potgietersrus) Mayor Andrina Matsimela, Even Though Bankrupt Town is Under Administration!

In another example of #TheAfricanWay, it has been revealed that the bankrupt municipality of Mokopane, which is the old Potgietersrus in Limpopo, has spent more than R200,000 on the rental of a Mercedes Benz C-class for the mayor of the town. Andrina Matsimela has being transported around in this luxury vehicle since July last year.

The municipality has been placed under administration since December last year. A municipality is placed under administration if it can not function on its own anymore. Documents in the possession of Korny Dekker, a DA councilor, proves the payments for the car hire as reported by Netwerk24.

According to information from the Auditor General, the municipality has incurred irregular expenses of R1,17 billion for the last 3 years. The Once Proud Boer City Nicknamed Rosestad Is No More. Tuesday was the 12th day in which garbage was not collected by the municipality of Bloemfontein, causing mountains of black refuse bags to lie uncollected in the streets in neighborhoods like Pelissier and Lourierpark. Small-scale black farmers close by have been letting their pigs invade the neighbourhoods, ripping  open the refuse bags looking for food, leaving a big mess.

A political confusion is playing out in Johannesburg and Pretoria with the far left DA still trying to control the city council in both cities.

Eventually, they can become the biggest losers because of their hand around the neck politics with the radicals in the Red Brigade.

In Johannesburg, there is currently a battle going on between the DA and the Red Brigade over the mayor’s office, which now poses the possibility that the IFP will triumph in this sage while the other two are fighting.

Doubt also exists about the DA and its Red partner’s unity in Pretoria while the first sounds are heard of the Reds claiming the mayor’s office because Zille is now back in the DA.

Eskom problems not solved yet – Possibility of load shedding exists in the coming months

The DA said in a statement on Thursday that it had reliably heard that Eskom had issued a warning to municipalities about the “strong possibility of load shedding in September and October” this year.

Natasha Mazzone, DA’s shadow minister of public affairs,  said in the statement that the opposition party has now written to Eskom chairman Jabu Mabuza for transparency in order to clarify the matter.

“Eskom has continually failed in its mandate to provide reliable and sustained electricity supply and it appears as if millions of South Africans and the faltering economy will be abandoned by Eskom again,” says Mazzone.

According to the statement, each load-bearing phase is estimated to cost the country about R1 billion a day.

“Eskom has repeatedly plunged our country into deep trouble. South Africa cannot afford a repeat of the load shedding of the country earlier this year, ”says Mazzone.
