The Department of Education suspended its online registration system for parents until May 20 because the current system is apparently too complicated for some of the population.
A simplified system will be made available after May 20, in which a step by step will be guide will be available to lead through application process.
The arrangement follows after complaints have been raised that everyone does not understand how to fill in the form online that applies to children in Grade 1 as well as Grade 8 learners’ admission in 2020 school year.
Applications must be submitted online and will be allowed until 22 July 2019 at 24:00.
